Under: Fictional
So, thought I'd update. I've cut back on fanfiction quite a bit
lately. I've more or less been writing original stuff. My current
projects are 'Tales of the Phantom Court, Those That See',
which is book three of the Phantom Court series (books one and two are
being written by Geralyn Marin; check her out, she's an amazing writer),
The Seraphim and Burning Candles. I'm quite proud of
all of them. Especially The Seraphim. Writing for it's a
little wacky, but I'll get it. People apparently really like Burning
Candles. Weird. *shrugs*
Well, I suppose I'll explain them, then.
Those That See is about a female Seer by the name of Miranda Micheals. She's pretty much got everything and wants for nothing... but then her life takes a major about face when she has a horrible vision of her older brother Jake's death. The only thing keeping her from losing her mind is her demon Yoru-Ssori, whom she summoned after the vision by accident when she fell off a bridge. Now, she has to deal with these visions, which get worse and worse every day, on top of stopping the new bad guy in town; Yoru-Ssori's devilishly handsome and diabolical cousin, Drai-Nehn.
Little does she know, there's an even bigger evil behind the scenes, pulling strings for a much larger catastrophe than bringing the world of the supernatural and humans together.
^^' I hope you'll check it out!
Hm... Burning Candles next.
It's about teenage agnostic drop-out Sven Ruskkov, who's lived with his sister since he failed tenth grade and dropped out of school a year prior. Sven meets a mysterious girl who gives him a gift... and when the paranormal start to call, she tells him that he's from a line of powerful, dormant witches that go back into the depths of Russian history.
But this girl has her own secrets to tell, and Sven must learn them, and quick. For if he doesn't, everything he holds dear will be pulled apart. He wishes things could go back to normal; ha. If only it were that simple.
XDXD I really love the plot-line for this, though. It makes me giggle.
The Seraphim tells the tale of down-trodden, depressed Eric Jones. Eric barely survives a car crash that kills his highschool sweetheart. But here's the clencher; he's clinically dead for fifteen minutes. And fifteen minutes are, apparently, all it takes to unlock the secret in his blood that he never even realized was there.
Lines are crossed, alliances are made, and mortal enemies that never should have been together are forced to change every thing that's ever been said. Can an angel and a demon work together? Or will Hell freeze over and Earth crumble?
XD Eric is my favorite character from any of my stories. ^^
